"5 Gospel Symbols" | Christian Hoodie
The 5 Symbols design is a commemorative design in memory of Bill Smith, from Monroe, Louisiana, who drew these symbols on a chalkboard over 30 years ago when he was speaking about the life of Jesus in a leadership class. Since then, these symbols have been printed on t-shirts, bracelets, and more.
The hieroglyphic-style symbols tell the gospel story. From left to right the symbols represent:
We have created this commemorative t-shirt to honor Bill Smith and support his mission. He was the director of One Kingdom, a mission/relief ministry for the 60+ years at Whites Ferry Road Church. He came to West Monroe in the late ‘50’s as a missionary looking for funds and wound up staying there until he departed. 316Tees wants to give to something that mattered to Bill Smith, and OneKingdom.org is it.
This is a great design to spark questions from people who want to know what the symbols mean.
